Speaker 1:

Welcome back to another episode of the Live Life Unapologetically podcast, and this week we’re flipping the script on everything you’ve been told about business growth. Let me ask you something how are you supposed to expand your business if your energy, your space, your schedule and your offer suite are packed to the brim? You can’t, because nothing expands without room. So here’s what we’re going to talk about today, and that’s the most powerful business strategy type that no one is talking about and that’s letting go to make space. Not the kind of let go that feels like giving up, the kind that feels like freedom, like oxygen, like finally making room for what you’re actually meant to build. Because I’m going to be honest with you, so many women are trying to manifest more success in a space that is energetically jammed with stuff that no longer serves them Old systems, half-built ideas, client obligations you didn’t even want in the first place, and that one damn course that promised ease just gave you another 67-page workbook of more shit to do. You see, you don’t need more input, you need more space. That’s where this week’s business strategy comes in. It is not a trend, it is not a five-step marketing blueprint. It is an energetic alignment through release and, yes, it’s a real, tangible business strategy type, because manifestation starts with what you’re willing to let go of, not what you’re trying to cram in. So grab your favorite drink, cozy up and let’s get started.

Speaker 1:

Anybody who knows me in my day-to-day life will tell you that decluttering is my favorite go-to strategy. But I want to break this down, because when you hear the word decluttering, you probably immediately think of deep spring cleaning, throwing out clothes. You know the countertops, the baseboards, all that stuff and that’s cute, I love that stuff. But that’s not what I’m talking about today when it comes to your business. That’s not what I’m talking about when I’m saying let’s clear, what’s blocking your creative energy? What is blocking your flow? What is keeping your business stuck in a loop of exhaustion, stagnation, misalignment, or maybe you just have a lack of clarity altogether on your messaging and where you’re trying to go.

Speaker 1:

I’m going to give this to you straight that old offer that you’re still promoting out of obligation is not expanding you. It is anchoring you and keeping you stuck. The jam-packed content calendar that leaves no space for inspiration is burning you out. And that dusty old lead magnet that you made three years ago and have not updated yes, that is weighing down your business, because when you start a business, you don’t start the business and stay exactly the same from day one. You expand and you evolve because you are evolving as you are manifesting Because I say it all the time manifestation is self-growth, it is self-discovery, and even within your business, those things still apply.

Speaker 1:

We get so stuck on the five-step business strategy. This is how you create content. This is the kind of content you need. Those things have their place, but they’re not what manifest your success. You see, if none of the things you started doing are working anymore, that’s okay, let it go. You know it’s not working. I know it’s not working. So why are you still holding on to it? Why? I’m gonna tell you why Even if it worked in the past, if it doesn’t feel good now, even if you’re still making money on it, and it doesn’t feel good, it’s not working because that’s not why you started your business. Of course you started your business to make money. I know that. That’s why we all start businesses, because we’re like I’m tired of being capped at this pay rate. I’m not getting raises. But that’s not the only reason. And, deep down, if we’re really honest with ourselves, we start businesses for freedom, because we don’t wanna be on the clock nine to five. We start businesses so we can enjoy life.

Speaker 1:

I enjoyed my life this weekend and I didn’t have anything batched or scheduled to post on social media. I went to an amazing spring retreat with Lapis Visions. I’m gonna tag them in this podcast just so you can check them out and stay up to date on the things that they’re offering. Oh, about letting go I didn’t even know it was a let go thing and I’m going to tell you the truth because you guys know I am a planner. I had this whole. Everything I’m doing in my business this week has already been planned. I planned it last week. That’s part of my routine as I map out what I’m going to do for the following week, and letting go was all a part of it. Following week, and letting go was all a part of it. It just was so aligned that we let go and we let in and we set intentions at this retreat. As a matter of fact, I was right in the middle of a podcast series and I let it go. I didn’t even finish it. So what, it’s not aligned Moving on.

Speaker 1:

Maybe I’ll revisit it later, but I’m not going to do that. Right now. I’m moving on. That’s okay. It’s okay to pivot. You can do it. Stop holding on. Because here’s the thing If we’re being truly honest as women, we’re taught that if we let go, that means we’re a failure.

Speaker 1:

It means we’re quitting. It’s seen as some kind of weakness. I didn’t fail because I didn’t finish the mindset series that I was doing on the podcast. That wasn’t a failure. It wasn’t me quitting and it’s not a weakness. I can pick that back up and do it whenever I feel aligned to it. Again, the reality means that when we let go, we clear the path for alignment. When we let go, we bring in that magnetism. We allow and receive the overflow. When we let go because you don’t manifest more by doing more. You manifest more by making room for more in your business that you’re growing, that wants to be aligned to you so that you can feel good in this life. Business is not supposed to feel like the job you left. It’s okay to evolve.

Speaker 1:

So I want you to think about what’s holding you back or blocking your growth right now. Let’s name it today. Name it today. Maybe you’re trying to expand to a six-figure business, but your Google Drive looks like a graveyard of half-finished freebies. Maybe you have 27 browser tabs open, five Instagram post drafts and a full week of to-dos that don’t even light you up. That is not strategy. That is energetic noise.

Speaker 1:

Here’s a couple of examples. These are examples just to get your brain going and moving, because yours may not be one of these four examples. These are just examples, but I want you to think about what I’m saying here, of things that we might need to let go of to expand. What is that for you? Not even might need to let go of the things you do need to let go of so you can expand. So is it outdated offers? Just because you launched it once doesn’t mean it has to stay. If it is not aligned anymore, you can archive it and let the energy move. Move on to something new. Could it be you have business systems you hate? You can stop using the platform that you resent logging into. You can stop organizing your files in a way that makes you anxious. Your system should feel like support and not sabotage, and this is a real big one because it’s energy drainer.

Speaker 1:

We’ve talked about creation energy versus obligation energy. The creation is where you flow and you have those new ideas and it’s just pouring out and you’re serving your clients or however you’re doing your business. The obligation is the business tasks in the background. Yes, we post on social media. Yes, I create a podcast. Yes, I do blogs. Yes, I do these things. What do you do in your business? A lot of business owners do these things as well. So let’s talk about the podcast.

Speaker 1:

For me, the creation is the outline like what do I want to do this week? I tell y’all. I type it out all the time. I truly am a writer and so I write it out, so I stay on track and I don’t go in a million different directions because you guys know I will do that. So I write it out, I record it, I’m here with you now. This feels so good. I love this part. This is my creation part. The obligation is going to come when I stop recording and I have to go edit, but I have a system for that. I did it at first and it made me really not like my podcast at first, but now I have a system and it’s great. So the women that I work with, my clients, we create systems for your business that work for you, so it doesn’t make you anxious and so you can spend more time in creation.

Speaker 1:

I’ll never forget when I was in education I was so organized. I got an award for being more organized than humanly necessary, like I’m the organization fucking queen, and I stand by that. It’s funny, even when I was at the retreat this weekend one of the people who hosted I know her, I’m good friends with her and she’s like you are the logistics queen, absolutely so. People would come to me when I worked in education and even in business and they’d say just tell me how you do it. I would always tell them I will show you exactly my system, my process and how I do it, step by step by step, to give you a starting point. But then you need to take it and make it work and feel good for you. I can help you navigate making it feel good for you because I’m so good at it I’m good at hearing feedback and make it work and feel good for you. I can help you navigate making it feel good for you because I’m so good at it. I’m good at hearing feedback and making it work for you.

Speaker 1:

But everybody’s system is going to be slightly different and it should be so. If you have business systems that you set up because, oh my gosh, I don’t even use Asana. I hear people talk about Asana and Notion. I don’t use any of that stuff. If you’re like, oh, I should use Notion because it’s the new popular thing, but you don’t fucking like it, don’t use it. Use a system that feels good to you so that you don’t hate your business systems and you don’t show up in anxiety, and then you’re spending more time on obligation than you are creation.

Speaker 1:

The third example I’m going to give you here is obligations masquerading as opportunities, because if you say yes to things out of guilt, out of habit or out of fear of missing out, you’re choking your business with half yeses. Alignment only exists in full body yeses and everything else is an energy leak. It is a leak and it is filling the space which will then block the stuff from coming in that you really want to come in. When I think about blocks, when I think about things filling up in a way that hurt you rather than help you, I want you to think about if you had hell. We’re all women here, right? Okay?

Speaker 1:

So we’re going to talk women things, your panty drawer. Think about your panty drawer and it’s full, full full of bras and underwear that you really don’t like. They don’t quite fit, but you don’t want to get rid of them because you spent money on them. That might be a waste, but you never have room to put more into the drawer because the drawer is full. So the really cute panties and bras that you want, you can’t go get them because there’s no room for them in the damn drawer. That’s the opportunity. You know you’ll feel better in them. You know you’re going to like them better. You know that bra is going to support you better so you don’t have a backache. But you’re going to walk around with a backache because your drawer is full, because you’re too scared to get rid of something because you paid money for it once upon a time.

Speaker 1:

And that kind of takes me right into four, which is identifying clutter, because maybe you’ve outgrown certain things. You know your panty drawer. It grows and evolves and that’s okay, right. So let’s identify some clutter, like maybe you’ve outgrown the way you show up online. Maybe the niche you boxed yourself into just isn’t for you anymore. If you’ve been around and you have been with me from A1, day one, you know I started by helping teachers with their mindset. Then it evolved to women manifesting amazing fucking lives, and now I help women grow their businesses through manifestation and organization. It all is within mindset in that niche. But I have grown and evolved. My business has grown and evolved and I’m just following the universe because truly it’s about creating the life that I love and doing the things that I love and being happy while also serving, helping and empowering women.

Speaker 1:

So have you boxed yourself into a niche that you really want to evolve? Is the version of your business that once seemed safe? Maybe you need to let it go and let it grow so that you can make space for what’s coming next. So what kind of energetic clutter or business clutter do you have going on? That’s kind of like your panty drawer that you need to get rid of and it’s okay. It served you once and you can honor that. You can honor that niche served you once, or you can honor that the offer once did serve you in your business goals, but you know it just doesn’t make you feel good anymore. It’s okay to toss it, it’s okay to let it go, but what is it in your business? Like I said, these are just four examples Outdated offers, business systems. You hate obligations masquerading as opportunities and clutter, but what else may be in your space that you’re holding onto that’s blocking growth? Then I want you to understand that manifesting requires space, because that’s really what most people miss is that manifestation isn’t about doing Abso-fucking-lutely. We take aligned action. We don’t just sit around and dream and wish we’re creating, like when you’re creating you’re not just dreaming.

Speaker 1:

This weekend at the retreat, we did different things and part of the lapis vision experience is creation through art, and so we thought about what we wanted to create, like I did. It’s like jelly printing. That was really fun and I had to think like, what color did I want to use? What botanical did I want to use? But I didn’t just think about it and sit at the table and think it was going to manifest. Like I thought about it and I knew what I wanted it to be and I knew the desire. And then I grabbed the fucking paint and I grabbed the botanical and I took the action. But so many times, because we’re programmed to hustle, hustle, hustle, do, do, do that. We take manifestation and we just switch back to hustle and grind instead of the allowing. Manifestation isn’t just doing more, it is also about allowing. It is about calling in, not chasing down.

Speaker 1:

If your calendar is maxed out, if your brain is overloaded, if your systems are bursting at the seams, there’s zero room for the universe to move. Like you’re no longer co-creating. You’re like, yeah universe, like you’re my partner, but not really. Go, sit in the fucking corner and I’m going to do it all. There’s no room for that co-creation. And then you limit yourself because we can only move in what we know right, like if I don’t know, that’s all I can move in. So I know XYZ makes money, but I’m co-creating with the universe. And the universe is like here’s a kick-ass opportunity that’s actually aligned, that you didn’t even think of, bam, there you go. But if we’re putting the universe in the fucking corner, how is it helping us? It can’t move because you’re really trying to build a dream inside a box that can’t stretch. When you do that. Here’s the thing Not only do we have to be aware of our dreams, we have to be aware of the environment in which we’re placing those dreams, because we don’t want to create a box that can’t stretch.

Speaker 1:

Environment is important and all of this. What I’m telling you today, is going to go right to your environment when we’re talking about letting go, to let in, because it is a very hard thing to do to let go. So when I teach letting go, I’m not just saying like let go of mindsets, like let’s make this tangible. We’re going to let go in our environment so that we can tangibly connect letting go with the abstract of mindsets and other things that we need to let go of so that we can let in. If you’ve read my book and if you haven’t, you need to get it. It’s called Action Before Affirmations, because it’s not just about your mindset but it’s getting your environment aligned and it’s making that connection because we change our beliefs more when we have experience. So if we can enter an experience of letting go through our physical environment, then we can apply that to our mindset.

Speaker 1:

So this book really goes into detail about creating a sanctuary and how you create a sanctuary. And I’m telling you that this applies to your business too, because your business deserves to feel like a sanctuary, not a warehouse, not a storage unit and not a fucking battlefield. So to start this, I am going to give you some practical, energetic business strategy that you can implement right now. But this doesn’t mean overhauling your whole life, just like in the book. I don’t tell you to overhaul your whole life, and I think that’s the problem of why we start shit so many times. We never finish or we never get to the finish line. We just fucking quit because it’s too much, too soon and we try to do too much too soon. Let’s just be honest. We fucking quit. But when we gradually move into stuff, we implement it and we keep going and we make it and our desires come in.

Speaker 1:

So here is a weekly routine that you can use to get started right now once again, without having to overhaul. So this weekly routine that you can use to get started right now, once again, without having to overhaul. So this weekly routine that I have that I’m going to share with you today, it’s just to get the momentum going, just so you can clear out the clutter, the disorganization, so you can let go, to let in in your business, because that’s really where we are here today. We are letting more in. We just had the spring solstice. Spring is here. It’s time to wake up the new creation. But we need space for it, and this is how you’re going to get that space in your business, because your space can help you manifest success or it can block it.

Speaker 1:

And this week is just tiny shifts, little tiny shifts that we can clear. That may be weighing you down without turning this into a damn cleaning project. That’s not what we’re doing. I just want you to first set the vibe. What do you want more of? Is it clarity? Is it clients? Is it cash? Say it out loud, declare it and put the universe on notice. That’s all you’re going to do on the first day, because I don’t know when you’re listening to this. So and I dropped my podcast on Wednesday. So day one is just setting your vibe.

Speaker 1:

Day two is you’re going to tidy one space. Hear me when I say tidy, not deep, clean, tidy, just one a drawer, your desktop, a folder in your email? Choose ease, that is enough. So for me, I am the post-it note queen and every week I tidy up my post-it notes because I have lines of them in front of me, of inspiration, ideas, all kinds of stuff, and I tidy that at the end of every week Just tidy. So go through your post-it notes that you have all over the place. Which ones are still relevant, toss the other ones, do what you need to do with them so you can get rid of the paper Right, tidy.

Speaker 1:

Day three, day two we’re talking about your workspace. Okay, your workspace where you do your work. But on day three we’re going to talk about your resting space. Yes, rest, and so you have your business space and that feels good. But you need a resting space that feels good as well, somewhere where you can switch off, because if you have nowhere to switch off to, then you’re going to be in hustle mindset mode and we don’t want that right. We didn’t build a business to constantly be hustling. So, refresh one of your resting spaces in your house where you can disconnect. Because, let’s be real, most of us who start our business do this shit from home. So where can you separate that and tidy it up and make it feel good? A rest space Before you’re going to release whatever feels off.

Speaker 1:

So if it’s a system, if it’s a platform, if it’s a belief, if it makes you feel tense or just doesn’t feel good, just something is just not, it’s just like you know, it’s like gives you the ick yuck. I don’t want to do that. It’s not aligned. Somebody had asked me about Facebook and, like, I think some of my Instagram stuff automatically repost to Facebook. But, to be honest, facebook just does not feel aligned to me anymore. I don’t go on there. It’s a platform, release it, so what? You don’t have to be on every platform If you don’t feel aligned, if it makes you feel gross or just isn’t your thing, the energy you put towards it’s not really going to give you the return anyway.

Speaker 1:

Day number four you’re shifting into abundance. So light a candle, put flowers in your workspace, change the phone wallpaper that you have or your screensaver, whatever you need to do to elevate your frequency. But these things are just easy, things that feel good. You’re letting go to let in right. So you tidied your space, you let go, you reset your resting spot, you released a platform, like you let go of some stuff. So now shift into pulling some stuff in by elevating your frequency to the new feeling and desire you have, whether that’s a certain smell, like I said, flowers and freshness in the workspace that you have. You know, like I said, maybe it’s a screensaver so that every time you turn on your computer you see your fucking vision board. What can you do to shift into abundance Throughout all of this? That’s five days worth of stuff If you start this on a damn Thursday.

Speaker 1:

You still better take a break on Saturday and Sunday, like no business on the weekends. Please Just be, notice how your space feels, notice how you’re feeling. Enjoy your fucking life on Saturdays and Sundays because you didn’t start a business to go from working five days a week to working seven days a week. Give yourself the time and space. I’m at a place where I work Monday through Thursday. Friday, that’s mine. Saturday is mine, sunday is mine For other things. I’m at a place where I work Monday through Thursday. Friday, that’s mine. Saturday is mine, sunday is mine For other things. I’m more than just my business. You are more than just your business. You’re multifaceted, so leave room for all parts of yourself, because that also allows more. That is a release. You have to let go of hustle, to let in ease, and that means turning work off and enjoying other parts of your life.

Speaker 1:

Going back to this retreat guys, I had such a good time. I did not batch or schedule content. I even told y’all I probably wouldn’t be posting because I knew where I was going, wasn’t going to great cell service and also who cares. I didn’t want to be posting. I wanted to enjoy the moment that I was in and I so enjoyed it. But had I been worried about posting or batching or anything else, I just wouldn’t have done it. And it was important to me. I built a business so I could do stuff like that, so I could just go off on a three-day retreat because I wanted to, without having to prepare extensively prior to or play catch up when I came home. That it’s just ease and flows in my life when I say you don’t have to do stuff all the time like let go to, let in. Had I stayed in hustle culture, I never would have booked the retreat and I would have missed out on an amazing experience.

Speaker 1:

Business doesn’t have to be everything. So anytime I am working with clients and we are building the lifestyle, and that is why in the Manifest she CEO coaching, we build the lifestyle first and then the business follows. Because when you align with the universe and with your desires and on the frequency of what you want, your business will flow into your lifestyle and your business will be successful. Your lifestyle and your business will be successful while you’re living the life that you want to live. You don’t need another strategy on top of your already overwhelmed life. You just need to release what’s keeping you from the next level.

Speaker 1:

So if you’ve been searching for a sign, this is it. Let go clear the space, bless what was and then open the damn door to something new, because your business is not stuck right now. My love and I want you to hear that your business is not stuck, it’s just full. So make space so more stuff can flow in. Don’t forget to grab your copy of Action Before Affirmations to really deep dive into creating space and learning how to let go to let in.

Speaker 1:

And don’t forget we are getting towards the end of the month, so you are going to want to get your subscription to the Manifest she magazine now, because a new issue is dropped on the first of every month. So if you get it now, you’re going to get the welcome issue and then on April 1st you are going to be getting the next issue and this really gives you mindset business magic in a monthly magazine. All of these things are going to be in the show notes. I love you. Keep living unapologetically and, once again, be encouraged that it’s not that you’re doing something wrong and it is not that you’re stuck or that you don’t know what to do. It’s not that babe, you just gotta let go and release to let more in. I will chat with you next week.
